A list of free music streaming sites for your #musicmonday needs
It’s #musicmonday on Twitter and that means sharing songs. Pop Fuze isn’t going to recommend any songs or artists for you though. Rather, I am going to list my favourite free music streaming sites.
Grooveshark
Grooveshark music player
Nice website that works well. Has a decent selection of music. Good recommendation engine, easy to share and save. Also check out Tinysong which makes sharing even easier.
Deezer
Deezer, French music site
Formerly called Musikblog, this French music site is my second choice for listening. The song you want isn’t always available though.
Musicovery
Discover Musicovery
Musicovery is a little bit different from the sites above. Instead of searching for a song with words, you specify the mood, tempo and genre (and a few other things, all optional) and Musicovery suggests songs to you in a spider web. Good for finding new songs and a creative idea.
Youtube
The Legendary YouTube
No list of free streaming of anything could be complete with out the one and only Youtube. You can find anything and everything on the tube, including music.
